I myself have thick hair down to my armpits (when wet) and used about 50ml. You can use this to determine how much you will need.
It is sold per 20ml because there are people with shorter and/or finer hair who may need less.

Usage:
Apply Olaplex No. 0 to dry hair and distribute through the hair. Focus on the mid-lengths and ends. Then leave it on for 10 minutes. Do not rinse the product out. Then apply Olaplex No. 3 over the No. 0. Leave it on for another 10 minutes. Then rinse it out thoroughly and wash the hair as usual with shampoo and conditioner. Can be used weekly. For severely damaged hair it can be used 2-3x per week.
Tip: Comb through hair thoroughly before applying Olaplex No.0 to hair so that the liquid can be absorbed well. Thick, long or unruly hair can be divided into several sections so that each part of the hair is saturated.
