The lightweight formula spreads effortlessly through your hair. As it dries, a gel layer forms, holding your curls in place. Once you break the layer, you're left with defined curls - shiny, frizz-free and full of bounce. With the oil-free formula, you achieve flexible hold and a weightless, voluminous finish.

Enriched with nourishing betaine and apple extract, the gel hydrates and conditions your hair without weighing it down. The refreshing scent of orange and lemon balm perfectly completes the styling experience.

If your hair needs extra hold, we recommend applying two gels for optimal results. At Curl Bites, we call this the 2-Step Hold System , which delivers maximum definition and hold:

1. First apply the Volume & Hold Scrunching Gel to provide essential volume and beautiful fullness with medium hold.

2. Follow with Mega Definition Strong Hold Gel to add strong hold and extra definition.

Together these two gels are unbeatable, working well together for long lasting definition and the perfect balance of lightness, volume and bounce.

The curl gel is applied directly after the leave-in conditioner to fix the definition and give the hair long-lasting hold.

How to use:

Step 1: First, make sure your hair is still fairly wet. If it starts to dry, use a spray bottle to thoroughly re-wet it. Rub the product between your palms and distribute it evenly throughout your wet hair.

Step 2: Gently but firmly squeeze the hair upwards to form the curls. Make sure you have used enough product. If your hair loses its shape quickly, we recommend applying the gel in two layers.

Optional Step 3 for Mega Definition: If your hair needs extra hold, we recommend applying two gels. At Curl Bites, we call this the 2-Step Hold System , which provides maximum definition and hold.

Apply the Mega Definition Strong Hold Gel as your second gel to achieve strong hold and extra definition .

These two gels work perfectly together, providing long-lasting definition and just the right amount of lightness to achieve maximum volume and bounce.

Step 4: Use a diffuser on medium speed and medium heat to dry hair. Rotate your head in all directions to increase volume as you dry.

Step 5: Once your hair is completely dry , scrunch it again to break up the “gel cast,” leaving your hair super soft and smooth.

The hold-boosting ingredients form a clear film on dry hair, known in the curl world as a “gel cast.” This hard layer surrounds each strand, making hair feel frozen or “wet.” This is a great sign of strong hold and definition! Simply squeeze out the gel cast to reveal the soft, defined, bouncy curls and waves you desire.
